Central Tube Ribbon Fiber Optic Cable offers swift deployment for aerial lashed, duct and direct buried installations. Mass fusion of optical fibers is a common practice method to increase productivity of splicing crews, and minimizes the time to construct networks with higher fiber count cables. Central Tube Designs feature radial strength members that are either made of Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP) strands, or stainless steel. They are also available with lite armor or dielectric options. If selecting lite armor with steel strength members, special bond clamps must be used to capture the strength members and armor sheath for bonding.
