The 8-Way FuturePath design is primarily available with this configuration: 7 x 12.7/10 mm MicroDucts with one 16/13mm "Air Pipe" in the middle.
FuturePath usage provides the ability to install additional fiber cables as the network grows, all within the same duct structure. By installing only the fibers needed today and leaving pathways available for future network expansion, you directly tie your capital expenditures to your revenue returns. Utilizing MicroTechnology, FuturePath allows maximum cost effectiveness and greatest return on investment for existing and future network builds. Current telecommunications infrastructure reaches its maximum utilization with the introduction of MicroTechnology.
- FuturePath is available in many different sizes, configurations and shapes to meet your specific projects requirements.
- FuturePath is most commonly used as a cost effective and user-friendly way to quickly install multiple pathways for fiber optic cables. However, it can make an excellent pathway for IMSA (International Municipal Signal Association) cables, low voltage copper communication cables and many other cables as well.
- FuturePath is designed for installation using the same tools and equipment that are used for traditional conduit or innerduct. No special tools or equipment are required.
- FuturePath is a way to install multiple pathways, at or below the same cost of deploying innerduct, while creating the potential for future network growth as it becomes necessary. In essence, future proofing your network.
- FuturePath can be installed in any Outside Plant Environment; be it aerial, direct bury, in an existing conduit system or even in a saw cut through concrete or asphalt.
- FuturePath can be installed using traditional methods of deployment; be it trenching, plowing, horizontal directional drilling (boring) or aerial.
